Stop Bad Breath
Everything you should know about: stop bad breath. Lets dive into it...
Bad breath is very embarrassing for many people, they often forced to speak with half-open mouth, or they avoid other people entirely. This can lead to social isolation, with consequences such as depression.
The reason for the unpleasant odor are various bacteria in the mouth. The bacteria develops during decomposition of the tooth enamel and the leftovers of a chemical compound that smells like sulfur. In some cases, bad breath can also be caused by diseases of the esophagus or stomach.
Regular tooth brushing and chewing gum often helps only for a few hours. A permanent solution in most cases requires a visit to the dentist. If you wear crowns or implants, it may be worthwhile to smoothen their surfaces so that they better inhibit bacteria growth.
Depending on the severity of halitosis I recommend a visit to the dentist every three to six months combined with a thorough teeth cleaning. The dentist can provide an in-depth cleaning that is not possible by yourself.
Sometimes, bad breath can only be cured when plaque is removed completely. It is also recommended to use dental floss and a tongue scraper on a regular basis.
Causes of bad breath and easy self-help tips:
Many people suffer from severe halitosis and wonder about the possible causes of bad breath. But also, only about one in less than five cases are attributed to a serious disease.
In most other cases, self-help is possible and not all too difficult to achieve. That means for you that the chance to help yourself is about 80 -90 percent.
