Avatar the Legend of Korra is set some 70 years following King Ozai and Princess Azula’s defeat in Avatar the Last Airbender. Korra has to learn air bending after having gained mastery of the other elements water bending, earth bending and fire bending. She encounters a lot of resistance from anti-bending authorities. Themed as the Legend of Korra, the female avatar must overcome Amon, head of Republic city. Avatar the last Airbender Movie has had box office success grossing some $300 million despite heavy criticism from reviewers and movie goers. Luckily he is not scripting or directing Avatar the Legend of Korra.
The artwork on the cartoon series is amazing while being supported by exceptional sound quality. The exact release date has not been confirmed yet. A total of 26 episodes will make up the entire Avatar the Legend of Korra series.
