The gorgeous and proficient actress and singer Rachel Luttrell, who is best known for her role as Teyla Emmagan in the sci-fi TV series, “Stargate: Atlantis”, was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on 19th of January, 1971 and moved to Canada with her family at the age of five. Rachel hails from a musical background and hence showed her love for music and dancing from a very young age. She took training on ballet dancing from the prestigious Russian Academy of Classical Ballet School and learnt piano lessons at Royal Conservatory of Music.
Rachel Luttrell made her professional debut in Canada’s Premier Production of Miss Saigon in Toronto and was being able to catch attention with her soulful acting.
